Early Years Educators – Galway City

Are you a qualified Early Years Educator looking for an opportunity to work and live in Ireland?

We are currently recruiting 2 Early Years Educators for an established childcare service located in Knocknacarra, Galway City.

These are full-time opportunities offering €16.28 per hour, guaranteed 40-hour working weeks and a supportive Early Years working environment.

Position Details

✓ Location: Knocknacarra, Galway City
✓ 2 Early Years Educator positions available
✓ Full-time, 40 hours per week
✓ €16.28 per hour
✓ 12-month fixed-term contract
✓ Possibility of extension by mutual agreement
✓ Rotating shifts between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Thursday
✓ Service closes at 5:00 pm on Fridays

Annual Leave & Benefits

✓ Service closed for 1 week in August and 1 week at Christmas, included as part of annual leave
✓ 1 training day, usually held in April, subject to completion of approved training

Candidate Requirements

✓ EU nationality / right to work in Ireland
✓ Early Years qualification recognised in Ireland
✓ Very good spoken and written English
✓ Genuine desire to work with children aged approximately 12 months to 5 years
✓ Early Years experience desirable but not essential
✓ Willingness to relocate to Galway
