Early Years Educator – Co. Cork

We are currently recruiting for a childcare service located in Cloughduv, Co. Cork, for a full-time Early Years Educator.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate relocating to Ireland, as accommodation can be arranged.

Position Details

✓ Location: Cloughduv, Co. Cork
✓ Full-time position
✓ 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension
✓ €15.00 per hour
✓ Possibility of a salary increase once settled into the role
✓ Minimum QQI Level 5 or equivalent Early Years qualification
✓ Accommodation can be arranged

Accommodation Options

Two accommodation options are currently available:

Option 1 – Room in a Shared House

✓ Approximately €700 per month
✓ Shared with other working adults
✓ Located close to the crèche
✓ Cycling to work is possible
✓ Bus route available close to the house

Option 2 – Two-Bedroom Apartment

✓ €1,200 per month plus electricity
✓ Approximately €600 per person plus electricity when shared by two candidates
✓ Modern apartment, approximately two years old
✓ Suitable for two candidates who would like to relocate together

The apartment is located further from the crèche, so access to a car would be beneficial. The employer may also be able to explore car-sharing arrangements with another staff member if required.

Location & Transport

Cloughduv is a rural location with limited public transport. Depending on the accommodation selected, having a driving licence and access to a car may be beneficial.

For candidates choosing the shared-house accommodation, cycling to work is possible and there is also a bus route close to the house.

Candidate Requirements

✓ EU nationality / right to work in Ireland
✓ Minimum QQI Level 5 or equivalent recognised Early Years qualification
✓ Good level of English
✓ Genuine interest in working with young children
✓ Willingness to relocate to Co. Cork
✓ Driving licence beneficial depending on the accommodation selected
