Reach Jobs is currently recruiting a Centre Manager on behalf of a large and well-established early years provider based in Blackrock, Co. Dublin.

The Role

As Centre Manager, you will play a key leadership role, overseeing both the operational and educational aspects of the centre. You will ensure the highest standards of care, compliance, and quality are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Designated Person in Charge, overseeing all centre operations
  • Lead and support the implementation of a dynamic, emergent curriculum tailored to children’s individual needs
  • Maintain high standards across quality, safety, hygiene, and care
  • Take responsibility for Child Protection, acting as Deputy Designated Liaison Person
  • Work closely with the Deputy Manager to support centre growth, including occupancy and funding opportunities
  • Act as the Designated First Aid and Fire Safety Officer
  • Liaise with external bodies such as Tusla and Early Intervention Teams
  • Ensure full compliance during inspections and maintain inspection readiness
  • Stay informed of sector developments through ongoing training and professional engagement
  • Requirements
  • Minimum Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education (Level 7/8 preferred)
  • At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally with leadership or supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of inclusive early years education
  • In-depth understanding of current childcare legislation and regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
