About the Role

Reach Jobs is recruiting an Early Years Educator on behalf of a well-established early learning and childcare service located in Tarmonbarry, County Roscommon. This is a full-time position offering a supportive working environment and a strong focus on children’s development, care, and well-being.

The successful candidate will contribute to the daily running of the service, delivering a play-based, child-centred curriculum while creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children.

Employment Conditions

  • 11-month renewable contract, full-time
  • 40 hours per week
  • Hourly rate of €13–€15, depending on qualification and experience
  • Annual gross salary of €27,040–€31,200
  • 4 weeks’ paid annual leave per year
  • Access to an Educational Assistance Programme

Accommodation Support

  • Accommodation provided, if required
  • Staff house located in the same development as the childcare service
  • Approximate cost: €400 per month
  • Convenient option for candidates relocating to Ireland

Job Requirements

  • A recognised Early Years qualification at Level 6, 7, or 8 (Irish NFQ) or equivalent international qualification
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland (EU/EEA citizenship or valid work permission)
  • Good level of spoken and written English
  • Genuine interest in early childhood education and care
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team
  • Understanding of, or willingness to work within, the Aistear and Síolta frameworks
  • Commitment to child safeguarding and best practice
  • Garda Vetting (or willingness to apply, with support)
  • Reliable, caring, and professional approach
