About the Role

Reach Jobs is recruiting an Early Years Educator on behalf of a well-established school-based early years setting in Kilcullen, County Kildare. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a stable role within a structured educational environment that places strong emphasis on child development, inclusion, and high-quality early learning.

The successful candidate will support young children during their early learning years, delivering a play-based, child-centred curriculum and contributing positively to the daily life of the setting.

Employment Conditions

  • Permanent contract
  • 35–40 hours per week, full-time
  • Hourly rate of €17 per hour (Level 8 qualification)
  • Induction training completed on the job
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD) with time off in lieu for approved courses
  • 4 weeks’ paid annual leave per year
  • Access to an Educational Assistance Programme

Job Requirements

  • A recognised Early Years qualification at Level 8 on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications (or equivalent international qualification)
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland (EU/EEA citizenship or valid work permission)
  • Good level of spoken and written English
  • Strong understanding of, or willingness to work within, the Aistear and Síolta frameworks
  • Genuine passion for early childhood education and care
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a professional and collaborative team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to child safeguarding and best practice
  • Garda Vetting (or willingness to apply, with support)
  • Reliable, caring, and child-focused approach
