About the Role

Reach Jobs is recruiting an Early Years Educator on behalf of a well-established early learning and childcare service located in the IDA Athlone area, County Westmeath. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering structured induction, competitive pay, and a supportive team environment.

The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of a play-based, child-centred curriculum, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in line with best practice.

Employment Conditions

• Permanent, full-time contract
• 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Shifts scheduled within 08:00–18:00
• Hourly rate of €15.70
• On-the-job induction training and ongoing support
• 6-month probation period

Job Requirements

• A recognised Early Years qualification at Level 6, 7, or 8 (Irish NFQ) or equivalent international qualification
• Eligibility to work in Ireland (EU/EEA citizenship or valid work permission)
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Strong understanding of, or willingness to work within, the Aistear and Síolta frameworks
• Genuine passion for early childhood education and care
• Ability to work effectively as part of a professional and supportive team
• Commitment to child safeguarding and best practice
• Garda Vetting (or willingness to apply, with support)
• Reliable, caring, and professional approach
