About the Role

Reach Jobs is recruiting an Early Years Educator on behalf of a well-established early learning and childcare service located in Portlaoise, County Laois. Employment Conditions & Benefits

  • Permanent, full-time contract (40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)
  • Gross monthly salary of €2,684.60
  • Hourly rate of €15.50
  • 20 days’ annual leave per year (standard)

Accommodation Support

  • Accommodation provided, if required
  • Shared house with private (non-shared) bedroom and shared bathroom
  • €130 per week, including heating and electricity

Job Requirements

  • A recognised Early Years qualification at Level 6, 7, or 8 (Irish NFQ) or equivalent international qualification
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland (EU/EEA citizenship or valid work permission)
  • Good level of spoken and written English
  • Strong understanding of, or willingness to work within, the Aistear and Síolta frameworks
  • Genuine passion for early childhood education and care
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a professional and supportive team
  • Commitment to child safeguarding and best practice
  • Garda Vetting (or willingness to apply, with support)
  • Reliable, caring, and child-centred approach
